The ironing board of my Philips Stand Steamer is unstable
If you have difficulties to straighten the ironing board of your Philips Stand Steamer or if the ironing board is unstable, please read our troubleshooting advice below to solve this.
The solution in this section applies to GC625, GC626, GC627 models.
Follow the steps below to realign the board lock of the ironing board of your Philips Stand Steamer:
Release the board locks off the poles of the ironing board as show in the image below.
Ensure the board tilting lever is in a locked position.
Press onto the lever, and get the ironing board in a vertical position. The catch of the lever to be hooked/secured onto the metal rod.
Once locked, reattached the board locks to the poles. Do ensure that the board locks are attached under the “pole lock clip".

Press the board tilting lever to tilt the ironing board as shown in the image below.
