My Philips Air Humidifier stopped working

If your Philips Air Humidifier stopped working, read our article for possible causes and solutions. Please note that the information below is for our domestic humidifiers only.

The water tank is empty

When the top part of your Philips Humidifier (the upper unit) is not placed correctly over the water tank, these two pieces will not be fully connected, and your humidifier will not work.

Please, double check that the top of your humidifier is placed correctly.

When the top part of your Philips Humidifier (the upper unit) is not placed correctly over the water tank, these two pieces will not be fully connected, and your purifier will not work.

Please, double check that the top of your humidifier is placed correctly.
Upper unit

The wick support is not installed properly (not applicable for HU5710)

The information below does not apply to model HU5710.

The larger side of wick support should be in the bottom of your Philips Humidifier as shown in the image below.

If the wick support is wrongly assembled, the float does not work, and the humidity sensor indicates lack of water. Please ensure that the wick and the wick support are placed correctly. Did these solutions not solve the issue? Please contact us for further assistance.

The wick support is not installed properly

The larger side of wick support should be in the bottom of your Philips Humidifier as shown in the image below.

If the wick support is wrongly assembled, the float does not work and the humidity sensor indicates lack of water. Please ensure that the wick and the wick support are placed correctly.
