There are white or brown spots in my Philips Avent Bottle Warmer

1. After each use, unplug the baby bottle warmer and let it cool down
2. Pour out the water hygienic reasons
3. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a moist cloth

Caution: Do not use abrasive, anti-bacterial cleaning agents, chemical solvents or sharp tools to clean the baby bottle warmer.

Note: When using the appliance to warm baby food, make sure there is no food residue remaining on the appliance after use.

1. Mix 60ml/2oz of white vinegar with 120ml/4oz of cold water..
2. Pour the solution into the bottle warmer.
3. Switch on the bottle warmer and select the milk warming setting for contents under 180 ml/6 oz setting.
4. Press the button to start and let the appliance run until it turns off automatically.
5. Leave the solution in the bottle warmer until all scale has dissolved.
6. Pour away the solution and rinse the appliance with tap water.
7. If you still see traces of scale after rinsing, repeat the descaling procedure.

Notes:

• It is also okay to use citric acid-based descalers.
• Do not use solutions other than the vinegar- and citric acid-based descalers.
