A lot of smoke or a burning smell is coming from my Philips Grill Main Body:

Published on 21 January 2025
If excessive smoke or burning smell is coming out from your Philips Grill, please find the possible causes and solutions below.

To reduce the smoke and burning smell when grilling with your Philips Grill, follow the tips below:
  • Ensure that excess fat or oil is not dripping into the gap between the heating plate and the housing, as it may drip onto the heating elements at the bottom (see images below).
  • Clean the grill plates thoroughly to remove any built-up residue that may be causing the smoke during cooking.
  • Avoid using excessive amounts of oil or fats when cooking, as this can lead to smoke and burning smells.
If the above solutions did not help, please contact us for further assistance.
